I think the graphic do lo a little better now than at the start, but only slightly. I wish they'd have a bit more variety in terms of the animals though. Nothing new in this region except the Minks, and they're no different to the Polecats from region 3. On a side note, nuggets911 and Deenohunter, are you guys having a…
Yeah I love the scenery on DH14, although I do wish they'd design new scenery for each region, not just reuse the scenery from old regions, like they have with R25.
I did actually, from the start. 9/24 regions in North america, too many imo. Having said that everyone else seemed to want more North American regions so I suppose I shouldn't complain.
Region 5 is Wyoming apparently. Can we please stop with the endless US regions, they're getting tedious already. I assume Glu is an American company...hardy realises there are any other country outside of the USA. :/
The region is called the Alps (first standard region in Europe, at last) and there are one or two new species but they're just the same as previous ones but renamed, eg: European Hare.
Second region was actually North Africa in DH14. I remember because it always felt like I was the only one who preferred the African hunts to the American ones. Although, just like everyone else I'm still waiting for Australia. And the Amazon rainforest.
I suspect region 19 was the last chance for Ostrich hunts, don't think there'll be another African region. I think we'll get one more North American region, and then HR7 before the game ends and is replaced by DH16.
It's not the whole region that's repeated, it's one 'scene' from region two and one from region 4. Repeating scenes is something they did earlier in the game. Regions 6-10 were the same as regions 1-5, in the same order, except with one extra scene. That's one of the reasons I prefer the Asian regions - the scenery is…
Yeah I used to find the out of place animals quite annoying as well, but I don't mind it so much now. One thing I do love about the hidden regions are the trophy hunts. There are references to all sorts of things, from Norse mythology to Dracula and even Monty Python.
Can't be bothered with a screenshot, but the only Antarctic animals in the region are Penguins, the rest are mostly Palaearctic. I think people that have been hoping for another North American region will probably like HR6.
I am enjoying the Asian regions, but I would like to see a North American hidden region, maybe based around a native American theme. Also, it always seemed strange that there were loads of mule deer in the American regions, but actually very few whitetails. I'd also like to see pronghorns and bobcats in the game if there…
I completely agree. Back then I would have loved to be able to use a crossbow, and when region 10 came out and it was yet another North American region I nearly deleted the game because it was getting so boring. Now there are all different sorts of regions, hidden regions, bow and arrows, and even crocodiles. Some people…
I agree that some of the regions are getting a bit tiring, but there hasn't actually been an African region since region 9 ( my personal favourite region). That was over a year ago.
I don't know how many rare hunts there are in each region, but I can tell you that rare hunts for regions 14 and 15 should be released along with hidden region 6, probably in about 4-5 weeks.
