R6 shotgun contract hunts

Odd result; if you use the Deadeye Long barrel from the Halloween event. I just tried the first hunt and decided to try it without purchasing the R6 shotgun. The game showed yellow status, recommending the purchase. I played the hunt with the deadeye and when I pumped a couple of shots into the Cougars they disappeared but did not register the kills. Had to swap to the R1-7 AR to actually register the 5 kills to complete the hunt. Guess I will spend the bucks for the new weapon.
