Elite AR Help

Hey guys, I have a question. I am interested in purchasing the Elite AR for region 2, which is the Westin Trooper. Before I do, I was wondering if you keep the AR after season 17 comes out. I am kind of new, and I recently got into CTS.

So question long shot, do you keep the Elite AR after season 17 comes out, or does a new one come out and you get that?

Same for the pistols in CTS

I'm going to say no bc you don't get to keep elite pistol or rifles

Can anyone confirm this? I don't mind dropping real American dollars here and there on Glu, in spite of all my Dino Hunter premium weapons sitting out there somewhere. But if you buy a real cash gun in a free game and it's gone at the end of the season, why would anyone DO this? Surely only the rifles and pistols change, right? Glu wouldn't take your money for a rifle, let you win a few pieces of silver, and then take it away, right?
