If they continue the pattern of DH2014 and Dino Hunter, new regions will come out around once a month (usually).
For DH2014 and Dino Hunter, new regions came out a bit more frequently while the games were new. I would expect a similar pattern here. In the meantime, cram in as many contract hunts as you can to build up the currency reserves and be able to buy weapons and upgrades faster. You will need it!
