Question on the silver coin system

I am new to the deer hunter game. I have gone through 4 levels and can't seem to understand how to get silver coins. Can someone please help? Much appreciated.

    ...talking dh16 it's only (used/needed) for event stuff... some of the [dh14] vets out here might call it 'useless'...

    i've got some 1300 and nothin' to do with it... keep it, save it, and if you ever get well over 50k....

    [still, and after buying 'thing' - as i did in dh14]

    ...nail it anywhere on your bathroom wall.

    Do they carry over to other events? Or do I need to spend them or lose em at the end?

    Looks like u earn them/ need them to buy special weapons for special events such as the current nature's fury events
