Region 6

I read on the forum that Region 6 is canceled. If so, why? When does the next Region start? I am quite bored with Region 5.

    Region 6 decided to make a no show. She is a shy region and players kept asking about her awaited advent...so she just faded into nonexistence

    Got that right Bill. Rumor has it that region cancellation will be directly proportional to the number of nonsensical posts asking for untimely dates of new regions releases ;)

    Nah, region 6 has not been cancelled. However after looking at the schedule for the next few months we've decided it's best if we cancel region 1. The amount of work needed to release that region has just become too much with all the other regions we would like to do. Once we see how the cancelling of region 1 helps out we might decide to cancel regions 2 or even 3!

    Your best bet would be to cancel Deer Hunter 2016 COMPLETELY and keep 2014 going for the forseeable future!

    I have been away from the game waiting for the Facebook functionality to come to Android so I can hopefully transfer progress to my new iOS device... Starting to consider starting over...

    Gotta say that it has been fun to watch the new approach to these "When is the new Region being released" questions.

    Two points though:
    a) There could be lots more fun if we pay attention to the Customer Care forum. There have been at least a couple like this one at http://ggnbb.glu.com/showthread.php?196276-Deer-hunter-2016 that are just asking for the harpoon.
    b) Might have to upgrade from the harpoon to a team approach with one of these old German 274mm rail guns:[IMG][/img]274mm-railroad-gun_05.jpg

    It was only cancelled for those who kept asking when it was coming out.
