How do people build up scores so quickly in CTS?

I'm quite new and not very good so i understand i'm going to get beaten more often than not in CTS but how do some people build up scores so quickly? My best is probably 12k or something and that's pretty rare for me and there are some people that seem to have built that up in less than 10 seconds.

I understand you completely. Im in the same boat. You would think they would have a separate area where you could practice. Every time I try I always get someone who's way higher in the game. So I just do my best and hope for a miracle.

You need to upgrade the weapons with attachments and such. There are 9 levels of customizations.

It takes time to learn the target patterns. And especially to know how to keep your multiplier maxed throughout The Whole match. But yeah like Samer Madbak just said you need to customize your gun. After playing for a while now, I don't even start playing a tournament until my gun is exactly how I like it. (Especially with full auto)

For example, Where you're shooting a target once, I can shoot it twice before it's retracted. Also, for the targets that take 3 or 5 shots to retract it may take you a second or two to get those shots in, whereas I'll get off the same amount of shots plus one more in half the time.
