My least favorites are any of the ones that act as heat seeking missiles. Nothing more frustrating than trying to take that long shot, and the projectiles deciding to hit a different, closer target than you are aiming at.

Gemtech Spark for me. It's essentially a bow that shoots arrows that explode with an electrical charge after about a 2 second delay. I love to shoot in the paths of all the animals and kill them without ever shooting them. Another fun thing is to boo-by (word filter) trap an approaching predator right before a closer one…

It was Doombringer. That AR is the only good thing to come out of that event, IMO. Doombringer is just a lousy weapon. The sound effect is cool, though.

I pretty much play only the Avalanche (though I'm not really playing much until something new), and try to get every kill without ever hitting the dinos. The AR is nice and powerful, though. It's like hunting in region one, even a foot or tail shot drops anything but the bronto-looking ones.

That could be because Region 9 hasn't come out yet. In fact, none of the weapons series have either. As far as I know, it's impossible to have all 9 map pieces yet, since the hunts to acquire them haven't been released.

Keno, be patient, there was an announcement that map pieces would be available to all. Sure has been a long wait, I agree. Ruffshot, I mentioned a fix for your issue in your thread on it.

This happened to someone else a while back. Are you using Chrome as your browser? If so, I think you need to clear cookies and browsing data, close and re-open Chrome, and the game should load all content. If not on Chrome, I'd still try it.

You must be playing some easy hunts, like the eoraptors. I couldn't complete the 4 dilo-whatever-asaurus hunt with the region 3 AR. My biggest frustration is that the game always starts you on the exotic hunt, and I'm not playing the Saw hunt. So every hunt, I have to select contract hunts again. It's minor, but enough of…

Nice! I've wished I could record my desktop at times on that hunt. I never shoot anything *with* the Spark any more. It's all a matter of trying to get multiple kills by an arrow shot into the ground anymore.

My biggest complaint is that the contract hunts are way too easy this region. You don't have to even aim to hit the flying dinos, if it's in their general direction, they will fall. Fortunately, DH2014 has the new hidden region to occupy me.

Toddfoxx, you have GOT to play the Spark with the lizards! That's the most fun contract hunt there is! Seriously, if you time it right, you can blow up a cluster of them. TF, I like the Spark best for the fast little lizards. I like to try to shoot in their path and blow up as many as possible per shot. Lots of fun.

The Gemtech Spark is the only exotic I ever play with. Love the delayed explosion, and always try to shoot it in front of the oncoming dino to time the explosion out. And let's not lose sight that the game is free. You can choose to pay real dollars to play special hunts and exotic series or not. But you can complete every level without paying a dime.

Please bear in mind, the game is free. You can choose to pay more to play certain seasonal hunts or special events, but you can complete every region without paying a cent like many of us have.
