Limited Christmas Event - Rosie's costume

So I got to item number 12 and it says to get Rosie's elf costume. Only way to get it is to spend 50 gems for a 33% chance with the pinata? Am I missing something? Why is it so expensive?

Hey there!

That's only one of the possible ways for players to get Rosie's Elf costume.
You'll have chances at free pinata swings by placing high on the leader board during Game of Thorns
And sometimes those outfits may show up in the daily deals, so keep an eye out.

Hi, the events are just for decors, and are not compulsory, so you can skip them if you want to. It took me a lot of time to collect enough 25 keys for Rosie's outfit and 14 keys for the Bundled Up set too.

Amusingly, I won a pinata for placing third in Game of Thorns and won the elf outfit in the pinata so I was able to complete the event.  I know it's not required, but it was nice to have something else to do when I had already completed all stars.

Oh that's awesome. Hope you enjoy the event. In the Facebook group there were lots of complaints that the event didn't have any final prizes, but I think that's fine for an end-game activity.
