Unfinished events

If I don’t complete an event in time, will it ever come back or will that area remain incomplete forever?

Likewise I have only just started the game last month, so are there bonus event areas that occurred in the past that I will never get to try, or will they return for newbies to try?

In the future they might allow us to replay the episode for those who haven't finished or started it. It has happened before with the Winter 2019 monthly event in December 2019 being available again in January this year and Change Of Hart in April this year available in July.
