Daily quest to get stars

I've seen a daily quest to earn new stars, but I do not have any new stars left to earn? Do the dog bones from the event count? I've completed all stages available so far in the main storyline.

    Yes Skillet levels work but you need to earn all the biscuits in 1 level in order to complete it. It doesn't stack unfortunately so it's kind of difficult if you don't upgrade enough

    I have the same issue. My task is to get 3 new stars, but the dog bone levels aren’t working for me, even if I get all the bones.

    Same - any thoughts from Admins on this? Is this a bug or a misunderstanding of how to get them? The bones aren't working for me
