Adding to my circle?

in EW2 FAQ, Support and Announcements
With the new update I have been trying to play multiplayer and can't figure how to add to my circle it would have been a lot easier if they would have used Facebook login like gun bros. Help please explain the process.

    - open good plus app
    - click g+ icon in upper left
    - click find people
    - type their name and select their page when it comes up
    - click add
    - now it will say friends
    - click friends and check whatever circle u want them in ( I made one that says ew2)
