Progress save for Android?

How do I save progress for android? I logged into my Google+ account but I can't confirm whether this will save my account's progress or not. I just want assurance that whatever I put into this account doesn't get erased if I change devices, unless that isn't yet implemented...

Some suggestions: quick sell, customization/avatar options.

Trading Post sounds good too, but there are reasonable arguments against it like buying gold gets best equipment & not finding items for yourself.
