Need help with Hellboy (normal)

Hi guys, I'm a lvl 33 monk. My lvl 21 weapon does 50-100 pts of damage to Hellboy, so I know I'll ned to farm for a lvl 26 or higher weapon. I've tried farming from Hero's Road to Helgard hundreds of times but never came across any weapon drops.

Any tips on where to farm would be most welcomed.

I got mine from iron offerings, a blue butcher. Try your luck. I don't think the mobs drop lvl 26 weap, or it's so low that you're better off spinning offerings.

I've yet to spend any money. I guess this is as far as you get without real cash.

you don't need to spent any real money to beat the game. I didn't spent any money on this game and I'm sure a lot of other ppl didn't either. Hellboy on normal is the biggest obstacle for a lot people because of the gear obtainable at that point vs hellboy seem impossible. But is totally doable. first as a monk you need the at least a destroyer/slayer or butcher keep farming til you get one max it to 3 star. second the amulet and ring" berserker or vulture" from Niam max it to 3 stars for the CC and CD boost. As a monk we don't get attack boost for 1/2 health as warrior or mage laser attack.. monk relies on Critical Chance and Critical Damage that's why our passive skill are CD enhance.

here a tip for hellboy. I recommend not using Rage of vaj'ra because it uses too many mana you want to save the mana for dodge so use fist of the seven star. And never use the rage of vaj'ra unless you have 3 critical orbs and only use them after hellboy did his rage animation witch is at 40% health when he turned red. at 50% he goes in to his stun animation so its a wasted if you use ROV.

I beaten hellboy with 4.5kGS on legendary took over 13mins no potions never spent any money beside them free gems from daily reward. Just learn his attacks and be patient.

Thanks for the tip. My lvl 21 weapon can only be upgraded to lvl 2 before the need the soul shards from Hellboy. I guess I have to go back for a gold weapon from Nian?
