What's monks best weapon

What is the best weapon for a monk on normal mode before ivar mountains but after wolf fang pass. I'm 1600 gs and my weapon is maxed until I can get demon soulshard but my weapon is a green so I want to find a better weapon that will help me beat ivar mountains even quicker. I currently only hit 100-120 on hell boy because I'm level 29 and my weapons current stats. I have a green from the iron offering and I don't want another weapon from an offering. I saw a purple that's better on someone else but I have 44% item find and have been farming heros road for hours and can't find any demons heart or the ruthless fists of the butcher (the purple I mentioned).
