Gems spent minutes before crash..

Hello mods,
I am new here and started this account because I want to know what happens after ew3 comes back online. Just before the crash I spent 36 gems (I know, not a lot but still) on refilling my tokens for the endless waves. I started a wave and it immediately crashed, giving a error and now we are here. Basically I spent 36 gems on tokens who also refill themselves within minutes. Due to the crash I couldn't use them and they could also had refilled themselves. Am I going to see those gems back or is it just my own mistake and did I throw them away?
