how to play on two devices

I start playing on my tab, but from time to time i want to play on my phone too. I had the same problem on EW2, on same mail/google play account had two characters. Can sumone explain how to play with same account on both devices?

ps. i did put the same mail/google play on my devices and doesnt work

I saw an answear was given to a guy that wanted to play on different platforms. But on same platforms is it possible?
Ps. I dont want to transfer, i just want to play on my phone also when im away
