waves in tower of heroes

I read this morning, that the bosses have been strengthened, does this mean the waves are also tougher ? Or does it only apply to map bosses.... Someone confirm this for me im at work

i heard also about that jay they said that the new tower are tougher,but i dont know about normal tower,
