So why does mage have a 5 second cooldown on her defense? A warrior can mash his parry button 15 times or more in that 5 seconds and a monk can roll 3 times in that time. Mage is already the slowest character with the longest cooldown on defense. What's the point of having a defense if monk can roll through it unaffected and a warrior can dash through it? It's already bad enough that a warriors dash can kill you in 1 hit and monks just run around for a win.

now you have to actually plan your blinks a little bit, instead of just orb, blink, blink, orb. But yeah I get it, being so used to doing 3 seconds when pvp first came out and in campaign mode vs bosses.
The thing that gets me is how the monk roll doesn't have an offensive ability to it like the other characters do. I'd much rather have the cooldown doubled and an added attack function that disrupts.
