Actually Goku was very stupid in everything besides the art of fighting. Heck he didn't even learn how to drive till his 30s or so and he was terrible at it! Not to mention how horrible of a father he was, Piccolo basically raised Gohan.

I am very capable of playing the game via iOS or Android, so you will have to be more specific about your issue.
