guild problems

When I hit the guild button in the chat it says I am not a member of a guild but when I hit the guild symbol it says create a guild. All I am trying to join a guild.

Hey bro, either-
A. Create your own guild
Or
B. Find one recruiting and ask to join. Send them a friend request, they will send you an invite which will appear in your mail, accept it then you may open guild chat.
