Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

turf top teams need to be paid 10x more gems at least

We need a get a petition started so CIE can see that we spend way too much money on gems during turf to be rewarded a measly 250 gems for placing first. I personally used over 2000 gems in the last turf and we finished 33rd, I hope everyone will chime in and say something so that we can get the gem rewards for the top 100 teams increased tenfold.

I would suggest CIE to increase the amount of gems by 2.5 times because I dont think a team who comes 26th will be happy with just 75 gems.

note that I said I spend most of my gems building cars cause I don't wait. And please excuse my typing because I'm typing on a tablet and that makes me tardy sometimes,
the reason for ths post was not to get people tt tell me how to spend my money, because those who did most likely don't have the money to spend, and I'm not degrading them one bit. I also think that the resposes from the mods/devs some not great but lutzburd did make a great point, you cant give me back all the money I just spent, but a slight increase for top teams who do spend big moneytocompete would be nice. Anda stairstep which I already menioned and have heard is being worked on.
