Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

im playing racing rivals for almost a month and noticing some game racers are starting to leave. having their cars sales and account as well. Do the Racing Rival Admin team is not alarmed with this issue?

What are the common reason why racers are quitting? Maybe this is about time for the Racing Rivals Game Developers to be alarmed on what is happening on their game. RR is a good game specially for the people that is a car enthusiast. I hope this game be more productive and stable so that we can bring back the old players who already quitted. I hope this game will not be closed but will stay for another more years for more update events and new cars.

More power to Racing Rivals and to all the players RACE ON!

Racers are quitting due to the update. It's as simple as that. They, as well as myself, have not been happy with the new update that has taken place. I do however, understand that our moderators and developers are alarmed but there's nothing they can do except have their racers give them time to update and tweak whatever they need to, to improve the games performance. I highly doubt this game will come to a close because a lot has been invested. I have come to terms that CIE is quite stubborn, but their reasons are valid. So let's give them time. They made their game great before, I'm positive they can again. Racers will come and go but once everything has been settled.. they'll come back. Myself included. That's my take in this regards.

i, myself, is selling everything that i have left. with cie hiring a mod that abuse power is bringing this down. updates is another reason why i am quiting. ive been playing this game for quite some time now and everytime there is an update it feels like another bug comes out. alot of dedicated members has lost alot of cars and gem because of this and in return we get a simple car and some gems. how about a full refund of what we have all lost instead of a ford gt-r or a bmw z4.

Hope moderators and developers will see this post as a racer/player/tuner of this game we have our voice and power to express ourselves for this game... We are playing because we are looking for enjoyment but if it is from the update or even to the moderator that power abusing! Players will going to be lessen. I hope that CIE is doing something about this. We are the gamer here we are the one that moderators and developer should care about. They are serving us as we played this game so please don`t be overpowered with the power that they have got. Peace on RR! Lets keep this game more meaningful.
