Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

[FONT=Helvetica, Verdana, Arial]Blu Collar Racers is recruiting players for turf. We are a group of older guys looking to have a good time turfing and get a free car every week. Several of us have been on top 25 teams and gotten some wrapped cars. However, we are looking to land in the 50 to 75 spot so that Sunday afternoon doesn’t become stressful. The leader and co-leaders are fair and very experienced. We’re looking for active mature racers who are easy to get along with. If you are a spaz or prone ot wild mood swings, save us from the trouble of kicking you and don’t apply. NO DRAMA. I’ll say that again.... NO DRAMA.
Here’s the requirements:
-15k per turf (this may get upped to 20k if the level of competition is high or when there are easy events)
-Level 150
-15 car minimum (you are encouraged to have 50+ cars from a range of manufacturers and across all classes, it will be difficult to turf well with just 15)
The 35+ is meant to refer to age, please don’t apply if you are a teenager who isn’t gonna fit in with us.
We will be asking for email addresses to stay in touch.
Here’s another way that you will be able to tell if this is the right team for you; Losing 14 VW’s during the VW event and then asking for a VW from teammates will get you kicked (#1 it shows you are a spaz with no self control, #2 its annoying to your teammates who are trying to get points, #3 you can’t make points by being stupid and losing all your cars).
