I deleted the app and now my character information is gone. Anything I can do?
These are not an answer. Just wonder my self.
1) I am In the same guild as Troubl. And all his chars still have the previous gs.
Doesn't it mean that Troubl's chars are not gone but he just can't connect to that?
2) I faced the same problem few months ago. I had ew3 connected and saved to icloud.
Then i reinstalled ew3, it asked me for ign when i was trying to log in.
Put my old ign, said it was taken.
As i was newbie by then, i just made another one.
But i would be very gutted if lost my chars now. And i have new iphone contract in few months.

Just send in a support ticket to Glu, they'll recover your character within the next couple of months.
Of course, if you spent tens of thousands of your account, they'll recover it within the next 48 hours like JonWayne, Lostsoul, and KaOtiC.
