They are useless, it would be one thing if they gave like a wopping 1m exp or atleast did stack. Then people would spare a few slots for them, right now as they are garbage.
I would love to hear the party line from a Glu admin as to why they've added these seemingly redundant and entirely useless crystals to the game.
1) They give **** exp. when fusing...no benefit to using these crystals in place of farmed equipment
2) For some inexplicable reason, they do not stack (oh wait, the explanation is to fill your inventory with **** so you buy more slots)
3) They've further diluted the value of the Iron God and Silver God offerings because you now have a high chance of receiving these ****py crystals (instead of say...demon lord reagents)
Most of the demon lord reagents I am able to get at this point (and they are quite difficult to get in the numbers needed to evolve lv. 50 equipment) come from Iron and Silver God offerings. Unfortunately, now I have a high chance of getting these stupid crystals.
The crystals seem to once again be a shameless money-grab, and a multi-faceted one at that. They fill your inventory with **** to encourage users to buy more inventory slots. They lower the likelihood that you will be able to get demon lord reagents through offerings further incentiving the use of gems.

I've been farming Iron and Silver offerings for the past week plus, slowly acquiring the needed reagents to evolve my Inconceivable Gauntlets of Resolve and I was happy to do this. It was a slow process but I was happy to incrementally work towards it. There was no reason to further **** over people that choose not to invest their lifesavings on Eternity Warriors 3.

Maybe because most people (me included) have invested a significant amount of time, effort and money (I haven't spent very much) on it. Every time a new update is introduced, with the sole purpose to pigeonhole players into spending money, the investment I've made (and every other play has made) over the past year becomes insignificant and wasted.
I don't mind features that promote in-game purchases as I understand the need for Glu to profit nor do I resent players that leapfrog me because they choose to spend money to do so. What I do have an issue with is that Glu has transformed the game to the point where progress is ONLY achievable by spending money. And in order to progress, you need to spend A LOT of money.
It is, in effect, a bait and switch. That is why I complain. You are entitled to be complacent and you are entitled to complain about people complaining. I am entitled to complain about the moneygrabbing.

i found out what it does. you cannot equip it. but you can use it to fuse into items. the purple crystal gives you 75000 XP when fusing.
so whats the sense of these crystals if you can use them for fusion only ?
i mean u get enough golden items from hellboy for fusion tournaments.
They don't stack like reagents, so if you spin and get 3 crystals you will have 3 inventory spaces less.
