I'm aware that this means you've earned the maximum amount of Gems, but is this an indefinite thing? Like I can no longer earn gems through TapJoy?

    It appears so. I have this error too. Along with the numerous other errors that are plaguing this game with little attention from Glu. Tapjoys link in the game says "EARN" more gems as well as get more free. If I am watching a video, or completing an offer the gems weren't free. They were EARNED. Its just another built in money making scheme for Glu. I have zero hope it will ever change.
