Not been matched against I can actually get more than 10% of their health off them! before they kill me. Nothing seems to change the out come, so the matching is obviously working well :-)

Sounds much like a problem I have had myself, gems would vanish when need but turn up later. Sometimes giving you a minus figure for the amount of gems you have. I think it goes in phases, for a long time I got nothing, then I seemed to get everything I needed over and over. Now it's back to nothing. Guess you just have to keep at it until your turn comes.

I hate it, even when you start to grasp the tactics, it's pointless if you haven't got suitable runes. Everytime I try combining my green runes I get a fail, and when you do manage to get a blue it's the wrong type. On a plus note tho the rune offerings have granted me 21 drills so far, shame all I have is runed now

In the case if this event, it's spend real money to gain vp, spend lots of money to get a prize, spend a * obscene amount of money to get the top prize. Failing that just use a hack like most of the top ranked players do these days.

Find it hard to grasp the fact that with all the media coverage, and investigations in to the use of in app purchases, Glu do this. An event purely aimed at the use of cash only items has to be wrong. This one deserves reporting to trading standards to be honest.
