Isn’t it funny how the prime games symbol looks so cool even though it sucks something awful? Like when I first started playing the game I thought, damn that must be nice!
I think part of the fun in this game is having “holes” in your roster that need filling. Then the thrill of pulling a good player in that spot. So I wouldn’t want this. Now the ability to platoon players? I’m totally down for that.
I’m just going odds here. Basically what are the odds Bauer will tweet in a given four hour and 45 minute period? According to his track record that’s going to be no most times. There’s still 3 1/2 hours for me to be wrong though 😂.
I’m done spending on gold boosts with this game. Not worth it. I’ve had just as many wins with video boosts. And a few times with an 80 boost I’ve just had nine straight curve balls. With Cooperstown Edgar who I spent real dollars on and ranked up to 17% on each skill, I massively outclass TJ. There’s really no excuse for…
I believe there are some people who like the challenge when Glu cranks up the difficulty. As someone who likes his video games to be consistent no matter when I sit down to play, I think it is so dumb.
It's kinda funny they scribble out the name of the team. Between the team's record and the players there's plenty of information there for Glu to identify the team.
I think one of the things that makes this game great is that there are several points when you think you know how best to play it, only to figure out holy crap that’s not it. How to cycle WOH, how to get good at CVC, what to spend your resources on. And of course, when to make the jump to gold, platinum, and diamond. It…
I hated this even more because I already had Chuck Nazty maxed at gold. I think going forward the guaranteed player needs to be someone new. Not a retread. And not just sometimes. Every. Single. Time.
Basically, the Glu developers and the rest of the Shadow Council sat in a board room and said, "Damn, now we are getting to that point like last year where people don't spend any money because they're just waiting for the new version to come out." Then one of the knights rose out of the chair and was like, "What if we…
How about just not ruining walkoff hero because you want to crank up the difficulty depending on time and day? People have significant others, kids, work and lives. It shouldn’t matter what time it is when we have a chance to play the game. Any other video game I play is the same difficulty no matter when I play it.
What does Glu get out of cranking up the difficulty like this? They won’t get a dime out of me from purchasing boosts (cash or gold). Their behavior here makes me less likely to spend not more.
Anyone else noticing how hard it is so far? I don’t spend on top players, skills and batting boosts just to see curveballs all day. I remember several people posted about quitting the game because of this in the last couple months. Totally understanding why today.
