Pizza Paisan S2 Pesto problems

In season 2 I'm having problems with the pesto pizza. It will not allow me to make it and the salad with chicken is ALWAYS burnt no matter what I do. I've used all my supplies thinking I was doing something wrong before I wasted some to figure out what was going on. Please help.

    Yes, I did. I stopped all play and only waited for the chicken salad.
