Chef Arena is too pricey!

Does anyone else think that the Chef Arena is WAY too expensive for upgrades? There's no way to progress without paying real money, or having a lot of patience to earn a little free gold every day.

    Definitely way too pricey. The autochef is 375 gold and the rewards you can get by beating the chefs just aren't worth it.
