A rather annoying problem

I'm currently playing Pizza Paisan, Seasons 4 & 5, and something really annoying is happening.

I finished the first go-round, where you earn three stars - all fine and good. However, when I do the second go-round to earn five stars, sometimes I'll get the gold background and sometimes, it stays blue, despite me getting high scores and such. Why is it doing this??

    You only get a gold background when you have served all customers, in that episode. You could get 5 stars, but you didn't get 1 thing to that last customer, so you are credited with 5 stars, but the background remains blue.
