  I know that Gastroyacht is very expensive (int terms of coins and gold - max tier appliance 37k/39 food around 40k/40 for max tier). There is a signifficant difference between Casa Cubana, DC, BBB etc.
  
  Chef Arena is also very expensive (max tier drink appliance 16k/42, carpet max 17k/12). And I've also seen the pictures of that Stump venues where you have to pay 50gold for second/third tier seats.

  I have been selective in opening up new venues so I can upgrade, but i am finding the french level and Chef Arena to be very expensive.
