Duals in newly opened restaurants

I just opened a new restaurant and don't want to dual anyone until I have upgraded enough things to be competitive. Do you know how many levels I play until duals are available?

    I think it's once you make it to season 2 episode 8. So don't pass episode 7.

    Ya punkysdilemma, I just learned that the hard way. I played season 2 episode 8 and now I'm playing it in the duels. 🙁 I'll be losing for a while until I can save enough gold to upgrade 😢

    I've found that since the game matches you up with people with similar levels of upgrades, you can sometimes beat people at low levels with a Frenzy Flare boost that serves three customers. :)
