How come the wok doesn’t keep time?

the wok doesn’t keep time when I’m cooking shrimp in Dragon Bowl. Why am I having this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

    You need to turn on the fire again next to the wok, it doesn't keep forever unless you have autochef.
