Spent £20.99 on gold and lost it all plz help

I took advantage of the current gun sale, I spent £20.99 to get enough gold to buy one of the best rifles. After purchasing the rifle I got to use it twice then the game crashed and would not open again.
I had to re install it. After doing so I found the game had been reset back to the very start. I went through options and restored my purchases fully expecting to get the new gun back however it is no wanting me to buy it again for another £20.99. This is not on. How do I get my gun or money back?
