Glu Credits Not Always Working

Around 30% of the time or more, obtaining Glu Credits by downloading and running apps doesn't work. I've tried multiple methods but it's always the same apps that don't correctly provide the credits.
I have noticed that sometimes if I leave the downloaded app running for a few hours and keep playing DH2, eventually some of the credits pop up, but not all of them.
Most of these "free to play" credit services have this same issue, so seems to be the programming behind those services. Just surprised that issue hasn't been fixed yet. I've seen it from different games on 4-5 different devices - Apple, Android & Windows 8 Phone..
