Halloween Event for Pirate Cosume

Can this event be extended until te actual end of halloween day? A lot of people and I have been busy with school and so we lost time with trying to get candy. Why can't it end tomorrow not tonight? Can we just pay 5 dollars to get the rest of it or something because I still need 274 candy and that's not possible in 13 hours.
