Coin streak

Hello, I wanna ask in series finale, I don't get how to increase the coin streak starting the next stage?? In the 1st and 2nd stage I earn way more coins than the required coins to pass the level and surprisingly I start the next level with like 6 coin streak only.... I am very confused
