Stockpiling players

How many players can you stockpile?   I don’t really want to trade in the decent ones in hopes of them being future bonus players.  LETS GO TIGERS!!!!!

As far as I know, you can have as many players as you wish, in '18, I'd have as many as 200 players on my inactive, before trading in for XP when opening hundreds of 2nd round and late round picks. But you can only LOCK a certain number and that number has varied widely in previous discussions.

@Cbourdo I usually save and lock my 4 ⭐️ And up players for the same reason you’ve stated. Make sure you lock the ones you really want to keep b/c after a certain amount your lowest ranked guys-will trade in automatically when you open a draft pick or box if you have to many inactives unlocked. You can unlock more roster spots the higher you advance in the All Star levels.
