Leveling up players??!!!! New to the game

So if my players max overall says 180 does that mean it cannot be upgraded past 180? Or how exactly does that work? Sorry for the stupid question lol just new to the game.

Yes. It’s overall can’t go over that, but it will have a max tier ( gold,platinum,silver,etc)but when capped at bronze you need to get your tiers up to silver level up more

It’s not a stupid question when I joined I didn’t even know what that meant LOL
