Club Versus - Bad Matchups

With regards to Club Vs., how can they match a minor league club against a major league club? Seems a bit unfair...major mismatch. For example, my club is minor league with me being the only member. I was matched up against a major league club with several of the members having teams at 150k plus...my team is 97k. I didn't have a chance and got smoked and it was only one of their members who participated. With all the money we all spend, wouldnt one think they'd have an algorithm capable of fair matchmaking?
