Losing our Teams for TSB 2021?

I just started playing TSB February of 2020. Now that the end of the year is coming I’m hearing more talk about what happens when 2021 hits and the new game. Rumors of we lose our team and only get to bring over two fielders and one pitcher. But have to start over upgrading them. I know we keep VIP for life but does anyone actually know if we are gonna lose our teams like past years have?  Just seems crap that we invest several thousand dollars into TSB cuz we enjoy playing each year and have to start our teams over in January. Seems like a major money grab(which is nothing new to Glu).
