I think that is how it goes, my game has always been like this! And if I create a goal, I can't get public goals until all people required for goal complete it. It's like a punishment for creating a group goal.

If you are linked to Facebook they should be able to restore your game! I have gotten bit more than once by this bug but support fixed it after a few days.

Usually within happy hour I can get to gold pretty easy, but I find with happy hour you have to serve all but the final two customers for it to count as all customers served. Hi, IMHO I would use gold for equipment and the extra prep slot, save tickets for the Autochef but up to you. If you upgrade in chef arena you will get two gold tickets each week, and depending how fast you are it adds up pretty quick! I will send you my other strategy stuff in a pm. For me, Flo and Gordon each take one spot, so with them, max friends is 38!
