That really sucks. Glu is incredibly slow at responding to their tickets and it ends up leaving a lot of ****ed off customers. At a bare minimum they should give you your gold back, but as a show of good faith I think they should give you the gold and McCutchen
I know when you're playing against people autoplay only becomes available once one team gets a lead of at least 3 runs. Without knowing how long it took the guy to play after your 1 inning it is difficult to determine if he waited too long to play. Even if it's a weird glitch, the opponent has no right to curse you out.…
After McCutchen for me the prize is Cano. It might be different since I've gone down the line a bit in the 1200 gold tournament. If it shows up as Adam Jones do not be afraid to pick him up, I know he's disappointing, but after him the 5* players get much better. After him you get Adrian Beltre 9/6/2, Jose Altuve 9/2/9,…
Wish I had seen this 4 days ago before I did a run on the 1200 gold tourneys. I'll be sitting at like 2,800 gold heading into this, so I'll have to be very efficient to get the job done
I just looked at the lineup I had last time I posted, and almost nobody is in the same spot. My current line up is: C-Buster Posey 5* 9/6/1 1B-Miguel Cabrera 5* 9/7/2 2B-Jose Altuve 5* 9/2/9 3B- Adrian Beltre 5* 9/6/2 SS-Hanley Ramirez 5* 8/7/7 OF-Carlos Gomez 5* 7/7/9 OF- Hunter Pence 5* 8/5/6 OF- Adam Jones 5* 7/7/4 DH-…
With the next fan rewards I plan on acquiring Miguel Cabrera to be my new 1st baseman. I was curious should I start Adam Lind 8/6/1, or Yadier Molina 8/4/2? I know Lind has the better power, but I feel like being a RH batter is better than a lefty (correct me if that logic is way off)
I love Verlander, but he no longer is a good pitcher. Like D-Train stated he had a 4.54 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP. He never really fooled a batter he overpowered them on pure stuff in his good years, but he no longer has the stuff to blow it by like he used to.
It's going to depend on the quality of players in your inactives. Right now I could trade my inactives for a #1 pick, and I have 38. If you have mostly 1-2* players it will take a lot more
I haven't been able to get the win vs Kershaw or Bumgarner. Usually those scores end up being like 18-13, 15-11 after the Legends pull Kershaw/Bumgarner I'm not consistent enough vs the relievers to pump out that many runs
Chris Sale and Yu Darvish are the pitchers I struggle with most. I also don't do very well against Felix, but he at least mercifully lets me score 1-2 in his outings
I love facing Kershaw and Bumgarner, only problem for me is the Legends are perfectly ready to support those 2 with ridiculous numbers. They usually average 18 runs a game when those 2 pitch. I also have had some success against Cueto (I can't really explain why). It's the Sale/Darvish combo that makes me look like a JV…
I have Gomez right now, and Lawman's analysis is spot on. He's hitting about .300 for me with a HR every 28.7 AB, steals a lot, but I wouldn't spend 16.5k gold on him
I also noticed a change with both. I used to have a W-L of about 450-200 Now I'm down to a W-L of 356-173 Some of my stats also changed. Carlos Gomez's stats were about a .280 Avg with 67 HR, now it's .302 with 56 HR (not that I'm complaining about that change). On the bright side it doesn't seem to affect wins needed to…
