While racing, i realized that the Ford GT's redline starts at 6,500RPM, aka the perfect shift point. I have been shifting as early as i can without even thinking about it, but i realized that you get a better benefit when you shift at 6,800RPM. The Ford GT-R has a rapid acceleration from 6,000-6,800ish RPM and thats the point where you want to keep it at. But be sure to be careful. If you go over the 6,800-6900RPM, you will end up reaching your max redline and it will slow you down. Try it out, get familiar with it, and expect a .100-.250 faster time.
