only thing is that having actually reached level 8 early today,since then I have neither gotten any of said rewards nor can I even do any jobs,last one was supposedly to impress some guy at the norman salon which vanished hours ago now keeps getting stuck on test from perry telling me to do a party gig in west hollywood.....any one have suggestions,please?? thanks in advance

Have you re started the game? Shut the app fully down and gone back into it?
If nothing seems to be working, go to west Hollywood and see if the task for Perry is there if not submit a ticket http://ggnbb.glu.com/showthread.php?1699-How-to-create-a-ticket and someone will try to help you
