I pulled Dock Ellis from their comp gift, so that was cool. Considering I just clicked "submit" on the pickem without bothering to read the questions, I'd say I'm satisfied
People mentioning Eddie Mathews not being released just kind of feels right, too. No atg 3B last year was quite the buzz kill for people chasing an all-atg lineup.
I wouldn't keep Mantle, personally. Keepers hold their greatest value in the first quarter of the year when they go from the best in the game to a step behind - and I would personally want keepers that have use in woh and all other modes. That'…
I think a few people around here kept righties from last year for woh purposes and regretted it. Righties can come in handy in woh, but that lhp skill really drags for everything else. A guy like DiMaggio would be a good option, imo. A righty w…
I think they should at least include a guarantee on the 15th and 25th cycle when you earn the lxp. So three guarantees in 25 cycles and the 22.5% chance at each box..
My 1b was previous woh reward 535 Adam Dunn, and I want the LXP. Its a total chore, but over a weekend it isn't the worst. On Mondays and Wednesdays I can't do it at all. Now 5/32, going to stack 4 boxes and see if that does the trick.
D9 with skills at 16 and only a 6% woh x factor. He hit a few weak grounders that felt pretty sketchy, I wouldn't recommend him as a closer in this state. Maybe at d10 with capped skills and/or a better x factor. He got the job done, nonethel…
I like that tourneys weren't useless and were actually a pretty good point earner, at least during the first half when prime games were the big points earner.
He's actually an upgrade at 3b for me, but I'm not feeling walk off AT ALL today. Pulled him on the first box and just ended up taking him to d9 and getting the cap from the third cycle lmao. Not too proud of him, but he'll work.
