buying a home....what are the benefits

Are there any benefits to buying a second home? I have the very first condo where I'm never at because I'm busy doing jobs. What benefits if any do you get from buying homes?

    You can also buy furniture, which gives you more bang for your buck in terms of stars/hearts.

    You can also store pets in your homes. Each one gives you energy when you tap on it every couple hours :) They also give you heart and star power like clothes do :3
