kindle app not getting jobs any

I'm playing on the kindle fire and I have one thing in the corner saying I need to complete 3 professional appearances, the only problem is that I'm not getting any new jobs from Simon or Maria. None. Anyone else dealing with this?

    I'm dealing with this too but it sounds like it's everyone. I'm a max level so not sure if I beat the game or what but I have no jobs coming in at all

    You have completed all the current goals in the update. You can complete this goal by completing any of the random projects Simon calls with. Make sure that they are "Appearances" Simon will tell you what which one is.
